In my opinion. Here is an EXCELLENT+ to Near Mint new old stock Pflueger Trump No. 576 fly reel. See photos and you be the judge of condition. The diameter is 2 7/8 inches from outside edges on the burgundy part of the reel, the spool is 2 1/4 inches diameter. The size of this I would call an ultralight reel. It is an estate find item, and was never used. Please see all pictures for a more detailed description and condition. There are only a couple tiny spots where paint has flaked off.but you have to go looking for them to see them. Ask any questions. Shipping from Alaska takes longer. Good luck!

This reel is in very good used working condition with some scratching and wear from use and it could use a cleaning. The wear and scratching occur more on the handle side of the reel as could be expected(see photos 2. 3 and 6) There is only a small amount of fishing line left on the reel so you should replace the line before use. The posts holding the Bakelite handles do bend in from many years of use and one side bends in a little more than the other side. This in no way affects the use of the reel. This is a Pflueger Trump No. 1943 level-wind fishing reel with anti-backlash and adjustable tension oil cups with clicker. Ruby colored jeweled end cap on faceplate. Unfortunately the end cap on the tailplate has lost its jewel cover. Reel is of polished diamolite. Vintage bait-casting line is included. Just attach line to reel spool. Run a pencil through the line holder and retrieve line onto the spool without twisting or tangles. With a weight of 1-2 lbs. I test these reels by turning the crank, clicking whatever buttons are on them to see if everything works. I'll point out anything I see missing or strange sounds or if they simple don't work. You need to look closely at the pics to judge their condition for yourself. All the reels have ... morelisted are used and have all the signs of a used reel. Be sure to ask any questions before purchasing them. I do my best to describe them as correctly as I can. I gain nothing from you getting a reel and not happy with it, so I don't hide anything in my pics or description. If you look at my auctions you will see, I take all my pics of every reel from the exact same angles. I do fish but I don't collect or use these reels so I have no way of knowing if everything on them is what belongs or what was originally on them. I took it out of the original plastic wrap for the sake of these pictures. Box is mint as is paperwork. Reel box is marked 2 1/4 A-2730. Reel features Anti-Backlash and Jeweled end caps!
