This is a vintage fishing reel by Shakespeare called Deuce#1905 Level Winding Reel. It comes in its original box with the direction paper. It looks to be in very good condition and makes a good clicking noise when you wind it. It has old line on it. The box has some wear mostly on the edges. i have a 1905 shakespeare deuce level winding fishing reel for auction it is in the original box and i belive the original package which is opened but by the looks of it it has never been used its in amazing shape i dont see any scratches or signs of wear and tear the box is in pretty good shape just minor age marks no big cracks or any rips that i can see over all in amazing shape and it comes with this key that says stamped made by shakespeare co. im not sure if it came with the box but it is included also. happy bidding thanks.

Shakespeare Deuce No.1905 casting reel with it's original box#G038 Description: Up for consideration is a vintage Shakespeare Deuce No.1905 casting reel with it's original box and literature. This is an AWESOME reel that apppears to be new and unused so it functions properly with all operations checked. The reel has a great appearance with bright plating and excellent markings. The only cosmetic concern is a small spot of corrosion on the end of the foot with a corresponding mark on the instruction manual. This would indicate this happened in the box. The plating on the top post is also a little cloudy. Despite the cosmedtic concerns. This is a great reel that will make a great addition to a vintage tackle collection. You are bidding on a Shakespeare Casting Reel. Model 1905 Deuce. It is marked FE which means the reel was manufactured in 1956. The reel is right handed. It is in good condition. There is some minor pitting(mostly on the crank arm) and the clicker is weak. The level wind works. I have not cast tested the reel. You should use the pictures to help determine the condition.
