MARKINGS: This has the headplate marked BRONSON LASHLESS No. 1710. The footplate is stamped PAT. APP. FOR MADE IN U.S.A. The clicker works and sounds off as designed. The handle and spool spin free and easy with the clicker in the on and off position. The level wind travels back and forth as designed. Note this has ... moresome old original line still on the spool. This is considered a somewhat RARE color as we've listed many reels and have never even come across a GREEN LASHLESS. The headplate side has one small ding just to the left of the word LASHLESS. The top of the headplate has one small rub mark where the green finish is rubbed off. No other serious nicks or scratches were found on the headplate. The tailplate side is in FINE condition with light soiling and no serious scratches or dings. Two or three small rub marks are seen around the edges of the tailplate rim. The reel was not cleaned. However it was wiped down for the photos. Again, this has general soiling throughout with some soiling on the inside of the rims. The handle and creme color knobs are in good condition as there are no cracks or chips in either handle knob. This is a vintage Bronson Lashless Reel. Model# 1700. It has a cork spindle, which is something we have never seen before. It may be wrapped around a metal spindle, but there is no visible seam. The cork is in great condition and the reel is about 2 1/4 inches across. This reel is in very good condition. The plastic handles turn a little stiffly. But are in excellent shape.
