OLD VINTAGE FISHING REEL LANGLEY LURECAST 330 COLLECTIBLE LURE saled
For sale today is a Langley Lurecast 330. I've been fishing a handful of times in my life and I really don't know too much about this item. What I do know is that it's maroon in color. The wooden handles that are used to turn the reel have a beautiful patina. There is string on the reel. It turns very easily but I didn't hear the clicking- maybe there is some button that I don't know about or maybe it needs a fish on the other end to click. There is some paint wear on the edges of the item. I don't clean these vintage items anymore because when I was brand new at this I ruined a very expensive piece trying to spiff it up. So.the dirt and dust is FREE. No charge at all.Condition is so often in the eyes of the beholder. I can believe that something is in terrible condition and you can think it's average. Up For Auction: A pair of Langely Level Line Baitcast Reels. Langley Lurecast Model 330. 4 1/2 Ounce reel in original box with paperwork tools and bag- This is the Maroon one in the photos. Click works and can be shut off with switch on left side of reel. This is a RHW reel. Appears to be in nice shape. Langley Streamlite Model 310 with 3-4 inch arbor, 5ounces, Comes in original box with tool and no paperwork. Everything seems to work fine as the reel above but the winding handles/grips(plastic part that your hold) are very tight and do not rotate easily on the winch. Both reel boxes say the reels are anti intertia. Boxes show some wear but are in very good shape. I know very little about baitcast reels but everything seems to be fine with them. Vintage Fishing Reels Langley Lurecast And Oceancity True Temper
I found these two vintage fishing reels in my grandfather's basement. One is a Langley Lurecast(Model 330 KC) and the other is an Oceancity True Temper(Model 1610) That's all I know about them! They look to be in decent condition. But they could certainly use a good cleaning. I assume they still work, but I'm not a fishing enthusiast(although I do make very good bourbon-glazed salmon from time to time) These will be sent via FedEx Ground at the buyer's expense, since that is the most convenient shipping option for me.
