One is a Bronson"Mercury" Level Wind Casting Reel with inserts including a DUO-PAWL insert complete with an engraved fishing scene on one side. The other is a Bronson"Lashless" Level Winding Casting Reel with inserts(not shown in photo) And the original box. The Pflueger Level Wind Fishing Reel is a No. 1963"Nobby" Level Wind Fishing Reel. It has the original box. Insert, manual, and hang tag. The fourth reel is a Shakespeare 1920"Wondereel" Model GA(Gold Accents) All of these vintage reels are real eye catchers and function as designed. Hi. 5 vintage reels including Shakespeare J.C. Higging, Ocean City, Pacific Free Spool plus a Bronson Fleetwing in the box. I dont believe this has ever been used it does have a surface issue on one side as shown other than that it is very clean shiny. I think cleaned up they will operate fine all move easily and are dirty but not all corroded as seen in photos.The free spool is missing a screw cap on one side as shown. 1) BILTWELL JEWELLED NO. 3800 baitcaster. 2 jewel nuts, wood handles, all original& complete, uncleaned, works great, spool clicker, perfectly balanced spool turns easily& spins for awhile even though it is unoiled. Could be used today even though it may be 100 years old. It will cast nicely if you know how to use it, the handle turns back so you must thumb it. Made in USA Bronson Reel Co. 2" x 2-1/4" + handle(2) Lion LW# 1800 baitcaster.Bone or other? handle, spins nicely though unoiled, spool clicker, Made in USA Bronson Reel Co. 2-1/8" x 2-1/8" level wind mechanism not present, see pictures, uncleaned. Should cast ok if you know how. 3) Shakespeare Acme mode GA baitcaster. 1904, 2-1/4" x 2-1/8" nice undamageded celluloid plastic knob handles, original& complete, working spool clicker& level ... morewind, Made in USA, Pat. Pend. Uncleaned& unoiled but still turns nicely& easily. Should be a good caster if you are into back spinning handles. 4) Lionel Airex original 1/2 bail style early spinning reel. Model 3 complete& works great. Turns easily. Level wind spool works well, bail works good, loud spool drag clicker& drag work normally. The handle need to be soaked in oil to use the folding function but the nice knob turns freely. Usable if you want to. Uncleaned. 2-1/4" spool.

Here are four casting reels. A Shakespeare acme 1901. Bronson Fleetwing 2475, Rubber sided 80 yard, unmarked 60 yard. I'm not very knowledgeable about casting reels so what you see is what you get. They all appear to be working mechanically. The rubber sided reel has a crack on the back plate.

Excellent condition overall on both. Very smooth, no corrosion anywhere, handles are intact as are both manuals and even packing paper in one. Ready to fish! These display very well. Boxes are intact but obviously old and fragile.

Plastic handles missing, otherwise very nice condition 4. Shakespeare Acme 1907. Good condition, needs cleaning Also. Ok im going to do my best. Starting from the front left going right. First row Shakespeare 1926 broken handle and the nice looking box goes with it Shakespeare wondereel 1922 work great. Shakespeare 1924 with the other box and papers that reel is mint. Second row Pflueger supreme. Arkron, and trump. They are all complete. Third row is the excelior kingfisher its complete. Bronson mercury 2550 with a nice etch of two guys fishing in canoe. Thats complete. 4 brothers trusty its complete and works Last is the manhatten special no. 880 it is also complete and works So only the reel in the front has a broken handle and that one is a really smooth reeler. If you got any questions make sure to ask. And look at the pics because that beautiful collection reel can only go to one winner.

Great selection for resale, to collect, for parts or personal use. Most are pretty much untouched and all would benefit from a good clean& lube. A complete description of each item, along with condition, can be seen as follows: 1) 1950-1960 BRONSON No.2475"FLEETWING" Very Fine condition. Showing just light wear. Strong clicker& anti-backlash control switch. Smooth level-wind. Works perfectly and is very smooth running. Nice! 2) 1955 PFLUEGER No.1993-L"SUMMIT" BOX& INSTRUCTIONS ONLY. Instructions are in Very Fine condition. Crisp and fresh. Box is in about Good+ condition, showing overall wear and one ding on the box top. It is damage-free otherwise, ... morewith full front label. Inspector's stamp indicates it was made in November of 1955. Really enhances the value when matched with the correct"Summit" to create the complete package. 3) 1940's-50's HORROCKS-IBBOTSON CO. INSTRUCTIONS ONLY. About Good condition. With some soiling. Would have been supplied with a number of different models of casting reels. 4) 1946-1955 BRONSON No.2550"MERCURY" This"engraved scene" model is in about Good condition. With overall wear. Strong clicker, jeweled oil caps, tension control, cork arbor and smooth level-wind. Works perfectly and is very smooth-running. 5) 1951-1960's SOUTH BEND#780"SMOOTHCAST" BOX ONLY) About Good condition. With overall wear. It remains complete. 6) 1905-1920 HENDRYX RAISED PILLAR 60-YARDER. Only Fair condition. Or for parts. Works, with strong clicker& drag) but runs very rough. Stamped with the March, 1876 and July, 1888 patents, as well as the June 12, 1891 patent stamped inside on the drag assembly. 7) 1963-1964 SHAKESPEARE#1901"ACME" MODEL EH.
