These 2 Pflueger Rocket Reels are some of many that were found at a local Estate sale. These are Model#s 1355 AND 1345. Both Reels are in good shape and work like they should. The both show signs of use. Like small scratches and smudges. The chrome finish on both is in pretty good condition. The smaller model 1345 has a leather piece that I figure helps keep the line from backlashing on spool. Two Nice Vintage reels that would be great for display, or can actually be used. Up for auction is a vintage Pflueger Rocket No 1355 chrome reel. This reel is USA made and does show signs of normal wear. It has a very smooth action and a working bait clicker. The reel was recently oiled and shows no sign of rust. It has a very smooth level wind and a strond drag. This reel has a pretty wide spool to hold a good amount of line. Offered is this vintage Pflueger Rocket 1355 Reel W/ Original Box and Pamphlet. We don't know much about these older ones but the reel looks in great shape and works fine. The handle turns and the line guide moves back and forth as it should. No corrosion or rust on the chrome but there is some expected usage wear on the spool but this in minimal and the box is solid and nice looking with great patina. The pamphlet is very nice with great old graphics and it has little wear. Overall a nice package for its age. A great display piece. We have many other great vintage items for auction! These are two Pflueger vintage reels- the Akron 1893 and Rocket 1355. Both reels are very old and have not been recently used. They both have line on them. They both wind well. This is a beautiful working antique casting reel. Its a model 1355 Pflueger Rocket in very good condition.This reel has been well maintained and cleaned. The chrome has some super fine hazing from age but there are no major scratches or chips as you can tell from the pictures. It is definitely an eye catcher. Pflueger ROCKET fishing reel Level Wind Anti Back Lash Vintage No. 1355 w/box
Vintage Pflueger ROCKET level wind casting reel No. 1355 with anti back-lash control. Great condition and seems to work smoothly. Very minor corrosion(see photos and see if you can find any) Reel comes with it's original box. Instruction booklet, string tag and even the original price tag that says $10.75 on it! I'm not really a collector of these really old reels but I am totally impressed with the quality of this thing. It reminds me of the precision and quality you would see with a high end sewing machine. I imagine it would still fish just fine but I haven't tested it. I'm guessing it's more of a collector item these days?

I test these reels by turning the crank, clicking whatever buttons are on them to see if everything works. I'll point out anything I see missing or strange sounds or if they simple don't work. You need to look closely at the pics to judge their condition for yourself. All the reels have ... morelisted are used and have all the signs of a used reel. Be sure to ask any questions before purchasing them. I do my best to describe them as correctly as I can. I gain nothing from you getting a reel and not happy with it, so I don't hide anything in my pics or description. If you look at my auctions you will see, I take all my pics of every reel from the exact same angles. I do fish but I don't collect or use these reels so I have no way of knowing if everything on them is what belongs or what was originally on them.
