Don't know much about this or the pole but I know everything works even the bait clicker on the reel is really loud an the pole says Ted Williams on the bottom and I saw one like this go on eBay for over 400$ just the pole so I don't know but it looks really old and all the guides eyes are there and looks like it is made out of metal and the butt is made out of brass but my lost is your gain any. There is some oxidation on the chrome handle, the plastic pieces are OK. The box is complete with no split corners or damage but there is an owners name on the top reading"per S. This early version of a classic smooth-winding levelwind reel is in very good condition. It has jewelled oil caps and a bakelite clad head plate. There is a thumb wheel on the rim of the head plate which flips from free spool to click. Dual ivoroid winding knobs. The bottom of the foot is stamped"MODEL 26/100YDS.PATENTED/MADE IN U.S.A.
