EARLY PFLUEGER CASTING REEL-this is a very tough to find pflueger redifor anti back lash non level wind casting reel made of german silver-it features jeweled end caps(jewel is missing from the palm side cap however)drag and clicker slide button on handle side slide OK but drag dont seem to work and the clicker comes out of click position after turning the handle a few times-it has 3 patent dates above end cap on palm side with serial number 3608 below the cap-the reel turns rough-seems like something catches inside sporadically and may need more than a squirt of oil inside-the foot has no markings-it shows light normal wear and is dirty-definitley will benefit from a good cleaning-the reel is shown exactly as found and needs a little attention but i think it could be a very nice reel with a little TLC-NICE EARLY REEL! NICE CLEAN EARLY BAIT CASTING REEL-this is a tough to find very high quality horton mfg blue grass no. 3 german silver reel with its original box-the reel features clicker and drag slide buttons both of which work fine-also has jeweled end caps and counter balanced handle-someone installed a 2 piece cork arbor which can be removed-it shows serial#14138 on the foot-the reel runs very smooth and everything works fine-reel shows very light wear only and has obviously been well taken care of-it does have 1 issue on the foot-it appears the foot may have been loose at 1 time because there is some solder on the foot where someone tried to resolder the 2 pins that holds the foot-the solder does not cover the serial number however-the actual pins holdoing the foot may have been replaced but im not certain-the 2 piece cardboard is in rough condition ... moreand has a lot of cellophane tape on it(usually the tape can be removed with lighter fluid and a lot of patience)reel is shown exactly as found and might clean up a bit better in the hard to reach areas-A VERY TOUGH REEL ESPECIALLY WITH ORIGINAL BOX! The reel is in fair to good condition with some minor issues. The clicker button works properly. I believe the body is aluminum. Issues: 1.
