Here is a very beautiful Pflueger Summit 1993 reel for sale! This reel comes with the box. Papers, tag, and a pair of pflueger knob covers. The reel itself is in wonderful working condition and is in great cosmetic condition! It would make a wonderful addition to a collection. The engraving really displays nicely along with the red jeweled end-caps. Reel comes with the patent numbers inside the head-plate above the spool as seen in the third photo. It shows little signs of wear from age and use over the years, with only light scratches on the inside of the tail-plate by the spool and a speckle of chrome loss on the level wind guard. The box is in good condition with very nice color and good structure with a slight tear on the label. Overall it is a great reel and box combo to add to the collection! This Summit belonged to the deceased father of my best friend& was recently discovered in a drawer of his workroom when the family was getting the house ready to sell. There were 3 reels in all. And this is the last. The reel is filthy. The parts that are not dirty look great. And I think it'll probably be excellent when all the detail is uncovered. All the parts are present, including 2 nice agates, and the screw heads are not buggered up. The reel works very well; action is quiet& smooth. Though it feels as if it needs some oil. The click is good& the level ... morewind action works the way it should. Two-piece box is in very good shape. There is an oil stain on the bottom. But no broken corners. The paper is in very good condition over both pieces, except for soil on the top& that oil stain on the bottom. Stamp on the bottom saysInspected by 2A 7 59, by which I see that it was manufactured in July of 1959. Paper use/care booklet is clean& intact all around. The handle turns the spool as it should and the level wind moves back and forth. Up for auction is a really nice older Pflueger Summit fishing reel. Most are Summits 1993L and this one is 1993 minus the L. Not sure what that means but it is in really good shape. It has the rare extra screw in the face plate. I believe that these models were only made for a year. It has the patent#s stamped into it and the old black mottled handle. Vintage( 1936) Pflueger Summit 1993 Fishing Reel. Here is a vintage 1936 era Pflueger Summit 1993 Reel. This is one of the first Summits with the added cover plate for oiling the gears. This reel has the scarlet agate Jewels on the end caps. This reel has had very little use and shows with the high luster polish and shine. On the crank are a set of fairly rare Mother of Pearl looking knobs. This reel still has the original multi colored fishing line that I think adds a great color to the reel for display purposes. This has the slotted screws in the foot and the extended pawl screw that show it is an older model. This will be a great addition to someones collection of fine reels. This is a Vintage PFLUEGER SUMMIT 1993-L Fishing Reel with engraved end plates. It is in very good working condition with a strong. Loud clicker. The level wind gear is clean and sharp. There is no rust or scratches but like all used fishing reels, would benefit from a professional cleaning and service. The bag shows a lot of wear, especially to the logo area. The manual shows wear and creases but has no rips or tears. The reel is equipped with a factory accessory called"Comfo Ring" Part 431) The is made of rubber and has a few cracks in it. It does not affect the reels operation or function and is removable. However. It appears that by removing the ring the screws attaching it to the reel would then be too long. V intage Almost Antique 1926 2nd Model Pflueger Summit Fishing Reel with Jeweled End Caps. Here is a very nice example of the beauty and craftsmanship of the antique American Made fishing reel. This is a 2nd Model Pflueger Summit with the amber reel handles and the Summit only name tag. This version comes with the Scarlet Agate Jewels. This is a version that appears heavily engraved however it is a stamped design. This is the most beautiful Pflueger reel design that I have seen. This reel has a couple of boat rash issues. It has a drop mark on the outside plate and another one on the level wind housing. These are shown in the pictures. It is a very clean and good working reel with a loud clicker. The only big problem is that one of the handle knobs is falling apart from age. Although it can still show very well you will have to use a different ... morehandle if you plan on using it. Let me know when you purchase and I can add another Pflueger handle for you to use. You will treasure this reel for a very long time. 2 Excellent Pflueger Summit 1993L 1993-L Level Wind Casting Fishing Reels with Correct Boxes. Neither show much use if any. Includes everything in the pictures. 2 reels, 2 boxes, 1 pouch, 1 wrench, 1 instruction sheet and 2 very deteriorated rubber cushions. Both reels are very clean and run soooooo smooth you would swear they were old German Silver Tournament reels. I have never seen a Pflueger reel this run this smooth and easy.
