The name plate for the box is also included and it has not been engraved. It is in excellent working condition. T he hardware on this reel is plated in 14 Kt. gold. Only 500 of these reels were made for Bass Anglers Sportm an Society(B.A.S.S. The foot is dimpled and has the number 760900. This reel shows only a very very small amount of wear from use. UNSPOOLED. Never spooled been in box since bought. How do I know that you ask? It was my dads. Been after him for years to ... morelet me sell it. He bought it new back in the 70's to take on a Canadian fishing trip he was planning. He never went so he never used it. I ask him what happened to the paperwork, he said it was so long ago he must have looked at them and never put back in the box. REEL HISTORY: These reels where introduced in 1977. The foot is stamped(770500) which means it was built in May 1977. The first year. It is an unused reel and in near pristine condition. Condition PLEASE READ ALL: As I said. Its not been spooled. Laid in box in my dads cloths draw all this time. Since its been moved around in the draw for years, the box developed shelf wear. In looking at the photos, you may see dust particles. I found one small box rub on the left black side plate rim(top side) had to use a magnifying glass to see it. I would say that was caused by 40+ yrs of moving the box around in his cloths draw, box rub wear.The red thumbar is still bright in color with no fading, marks, or scratches.The box is in good condition, but like most boxes there's shelf wear. One slot flap on the inside does have a tear, its where the foot slide into a slot to stableize it. Dad probably riped it when he pulled

There looks to be little to no wear on the reel. Also in the box is the felt bag. Extra parts, lubrication oil and instructions. This beautiful piece comes in the original wooden dovetailed box. On the top of that box is a name plate that has been personalized. This box is in great original condition. That box comes with the original outer cardboard box.
