I bought this at a yard sale this past weekend but since I don't know much about fishing I'll try to describe it as well as I can. This is a vintage Langley Lakecast Model 350 fishing reel. It still has fishing line on it that is tied at the end with a large washer. Everything seems to be working correctly. Condition is very good but needs cleaning. The bottom is stamped: Made In USA. Vintage Langley Model 352 Lakecast Casting Reel in box
Another of Dad’s old reels. This is a vintage(post WWII) Langley“Lakecast” level winding casting reel. Model 352 with Anti-Inertia” It weighs 6 oz. Comes in the box with paperwork and appears to be in overall excellent condition. It could use a little polishing, and the box has 350 with the 0 over-written as a 2, but the reel says 352 on it. Very Early LANGLEY MODEL 310-A STREAMLITE Fishing Reel MINT in LAKECAST Box
This is a very early Langley model with plain(NOT grooved) rims. It MAY have had line on it at one time but it looks unfished to me. Shiny and like-new. When I bought it I did not check the label on the end of the box. Which is for a LAKECAST#350. Still, an uncommon reel and an excellent example, if you need one for your collection. Langley Lakecast and Samson Union Hardware Vintage Fishing Reels
Up for your bidding pleasure are 2 vintage casting reels. One is a Langley Lakecast Model 350 and the other is a Samson made by Union Hardware Co. Torrington, Conn. Both of these reels have pitting, and scratching on the chrome. Both reels have cranks that turn smoothly. The Union Hardware reel has some chrome corrosion on the side of the reel and on the base.
