Antique pot belly shaped wicker lidded fish creel basket Is in good usable condition however there is some damage. the lid hinge has been strengthened with some fishing line string as the read atachments arent there. Also in the same area the wicker is unraveling a bit. The only other thing is that the lid catch loop has split so the peg doesnt sit in place. these small issues to do with the wicker could easily be restored. 2. A leather wallet for keeping flys in. This has got some wear and areas where the inner felt leaves have been eaten at. The other pages have some spinners lures in and there are a few flys aswell. see picture) 3. A large collection of line still on spools to include the string. 4. A metal box containing lidded compartments to keep different flys in. There are also many antique flys that are in this box that will come with the sale. Some are a bit rusted. I got this at an estate sale and just passing it along to someone out there in Ebayland who really wants a good deal. The creel appears to be quite old and the weave is real small and tight with no breaks or holes guaranteed. It's the leather straps that are the problem. 2 issues to be aware of: the top is missing one piece of leather that holds it to the basket[ pic 8] and the second issue is the shoulder strap. It is broken in 2 places and needs a good fix. The creel measures 13" by 7" by 9" tall. If you are not 100% happy then send it back for a full refund. Guaranteed. Sturdy condition and leather is well worn and weathered with front pouch deteriorated and a broken loop handle. It was last used with a green canvas& leather strap that it is equipped with and it also comes with two(2) additional leather straps. The creel measures 13" by 6" at the bottom and 9 1/2" high. The lid is 9 1/2" by 5 1/2" I have lots of nice memories of trout fishing California's High Sierras with my Dad and this old creel.

Vintage Japan ComPac Fishing Creel Leather Strap Plus 2 Metal Bait Boxes
Vintage fishing creel-tight weave- with leather strap plus 2 metal bait boxes. Bait boxes both have lids and clasps and drain holes in the bottom. One is a half moon shape. And one is a small box. They can fit inside the creel. The leather is a little dry in places but could be brought back with some care-this is expected when something is this old. On the bottom it is marked made in Japan and the name of the company is Com Pac. The pouch in the front has snaps. The only place I need to mention is the tab underneath where it buckles on top is broke on one side, but it is still holding the prong and as you can see, it is still able to be buckled.

Vintage Rare Childs Woven Fishing Creel w / Leather Straps 9 1/2"
Vintage Rare Child's Woven Fishing Creel I have taken many pictures for you to enjoy and check out condition of this vintage childs size fishing creel. It is approximately 9 1/2" across the bottom. Appears to be all original leather straps and metal closure. Not sure if the lining came with it since there are loose threads and appears stitching was done by hand. But it is how we bought this. Many many years ago and it has been on display in our house as is. Lining looks like vintage denim. What a unique creel for your display of vintage fishing gear! I took pictures of all angles for you to see the condition and loose threads and the few cracked wicker pieces. This has been in our smoke free home and I do not detect any unusual odors.
