Working Lock With Key, and Interior Tray Here is a really nice complete refinished steamer trunk from the late 1800's to around 1900. This beautiful trunk consists of poplar base wood with ash or oak outer slat boards. The wood has been finished with three coats of polyurethane by Minwax. Considering the age of this trunk. The wood is in very nice condition. It does have some typical stress cracks which are found in most all of the trunks that we refinish Here are the trunk's di mensions: from left to right across the front is 30 1/2 inches. From floor to top is 21 inches, and from front edge to back edge is 18 inches. We are calling this a flat top trunk, although there is a very slight factory arch to the top which may be noticeable in the side view picture. ... moreThis one has a wonderful combination of metal, wood, and leather, no plastic parts to break. This one comes with the original signed working lock. It is signed, Yale& Towne Mfg Co Stamford Conn U.S.A. We have matched up a key that does work properly with this lock. In addition to this nice original lock, it also has some nice original fancy front latches that do work properly since the springs are still intact. This lovely trunk originally had leather straps with buckles. They were eroded away when we received this trunk, so we have run a nice pair of Amish made leather straps with roller buckles up the front and across the top in the very same location where the original ones were. We actually have run this pair of straps under the original strap hold downs or keepers that we have repainted. Since the metal on this trunk is not brass, we have brush painted it by hand in black and gold leaf. The edge banding is made up of some type of leather or pressed composition. M1 HELMET SHELL c/w STRAPS, LATE WAR, SWIVEL BALE in NICE ORIGINAL CONDITION
F resh from a local estate, I can offer today a very nice late WWII rear-seam/ swivel bale helmet w/ very nice OD paint w/ cork aggregate finish. C/w late war green OD#7 chinstraps and black painted hardware. Interestingly, the receptacle end of the chinstrap hardware was given a.90 degree upward bend in order to better facilitate unbuckling it from the hook end.leave it as-is or straighten it, however I feel it's an interesting period-done modification. The overall condition is excellent, and this is the last iteration of M1 helmet produced during WWII, as the ones refurbished after WWII and reissued in Korea would've had the cork aggregate finish replaced w/ a sand-textured finish, and more than likely have had T1 chinstrap hardware installed. I believe this one was mfg'd by McCord and is numbered to the inside behind the brim. ... moreA very nice looking helmet w/ a very pleasing patina, just needs your liner to be complete, or display it as-is as it's a very nice looking M1 pot. Nice Refinished Flat Top Steamer Trunk Antique Chest With Straps, Key, & 2 Trays
Gorgeous Refinished Antique Flat Top Steamer Trunk With Straps& Buckles. Working Lock With Key, and Two Original Interior Trays Here is an absolutely beautiful fancy refinished flat top steamer trunk from the late 1800's to around 1900 or so. If you have been waiting for the magnificent trunk with a tremendous amount of hardware. Then this one is definitely the one for you. It is hard for us to find trunks throughout the year that are really nice like this one. Here are the trunk's di mensions: from left to right across the front is 32 1/2 inches. From floor to top is 22 1/2 inches, and from front edge to back edge is 21 inches. This beauty is made up of pine base wood with oak outer slat boards. The wood has been finished with three coats of polyurethane by Minwax. The wood is in pretty good condition with some typical older ... moredistress marks which include nicks and dings in various places along with some hairline stress cracks. Just about all of the trunks that we refinish have these older character marks or distress marks, most of which have accumulated over time. The edge banding on the sides of this trunk is made up of some type of composition. It has some typical small splits or stress cracks in it, one of which we have shown in a close up picture so there won't be any surprises. The metal parts that make up this trunk are not brass, therefore we have brush painted the metal by hand in black and gold leaf. This trunk maker went all out and put lots of fancy hardware on this trunk. This beautiful trunk comes with the original signed working lock. Look at the close up picture and you will see it is signed, Eagle Lock Co Terryville Conn" We have matched up a key for you that does work properly with this lock. This trunk originally came with leather straps with buckles. They were eroded away and missing, so we have run a nice pair of Amish made leather straps with roller buckles up the front and across the top in the same location where the original ones did. Hand Carved Dove Wing Vintage type Spur Straps for Spurs Unknown age NICE
Super nice. Matched pair of HEAVY leather Spur Straps of the style/type I have always called"DOVE WING" or"MULE EAR" They are clearly hand carved-a very nice job-not modern type tooling, but carving. They are heavily oiled and show very little use and only minor scuffing. Looks like a type of brand in the very center-and may have even been"altered" at some point-but still really nice looking. They measure a whopping 14" long and feature a 2.25" diameter circle at one end for the spur buttons, and are 2.50" wide at the middle section. Carving is a palmate leaf type floral carving. Leather is soft and pliable-certainly not hard, brittle and rotten. In fact, seems sound enough to actually wear on a pear of spurs. I don't know the exact age, but suspect they are within the 20-25 year range based ... moreon the other items that came with them. Please email any questions. This auction is for a well used pair of vintage reining spurs with sterling silver in good used condition. And leather reining straps in less than good condition. The heavy steel spurs with sterling silver have 1.25" wide bands. The shanks measure 2" long with 6 point, 1 5/8" brass rowels that change out with pins. No bends, breaks or repairs but some of the silver is missing as pictured. The maker mark is hard to read and mostly worn but readible is an E and an X. Leather dotted reining spur straps are pretty worn at the button holes and part of the silver is missing on one 1.5" concho and one 1 5/8" buckle as pictured. Hi this is a VINTAGE GEORGE DICKEL TENNESSE WHISKEY DECANTER. It is in great shape.1-all labels are attached.The special bottling label HAS NOT been written on or personalized. One label has some wear. 2- the CORK IS ORIGINAL'UNBROKEN ATTACHED TO THE WOODEN CAP. 3- ALL SERIAL NUMBERS ON THE LABELS ARE CLEAR. 4- THE LEATHER STRAPS are not cracked or ripped.5- BOTTLE READS DICKEL TENNESSE FIRST BOTTLING OCTOBER 1964. 27 YEARS OF STUBBORNNESS BUT WE MADE IT.6 the metal strap attached has some surface rust on one of them. easily cleaned. Overall a great condition for this vintage bottle. The bottle was used in STAR TREK,TO SERVE BRANDY. GREAT SHAPE BOTTLE. WW2 German Wehrmacht Leather Y-Straps,Very Nice & 100% Original Vet Captured
This is a nice Original pair of German Wehrmacht Soldiers Leather Y-Straps.These have held up very well preserved in a collection until recently when I purchased them.I don't see any markings on these anywhere,but I guarantee them to be 100% Original with the exception the back strap which has a different color paint on the metal hook and may have been period replaced with another original one,otherwise everything looks correct. Smardo Militaria and Collectibles Pictured is an original WWII British Army"Manpack" Similar is style and use as the US Army Packboard, but this one is made of aluminum. All of the straps appear to be there, I can't find a date though as the date on these was painted on and it has apparently rubbed off, definitely WWII manufacture though. This would be a great item to add to your British or even US collection as I'm sure US troops also used them. International Buyers* Import duties. NICE 1940's ENGRAVED RENALDE ALUMINUM SPURS 16 POINT ROWEL PAIR ORIGINAL STRAPS
Presented for the spur collector. Decorator, or cowboy in need of gear are these nice old"airplane metal" spurs by Renalde with original straps. They are in untouched, as-found condition and have a lot of character to them. The outside of the heel bands and shank are rocker-engraved by hand in a floral pattern with a geometric rosette in the circular portion of the heel band. The measure about 3 1/4 inches from inside to inside at the strap ends of the heel band. Structurally they are in sound condition with no bends. Of course, they exhibit wear and scratches from use. Herm Sprenger English Spurs With Leather Straps - NICE!!
Nice pair of Herm Sprenger spurs with leather straps. The spurs measure 3.5 inches between the points where the straps attach. And the spur part is 1 inch long. HS in a circle can be seen in the third pix- did not come out clearly no matter how hard we tried! The straps are leather and measure 18 inches long. We do not know the brand on the straps. This set has been used. The spurs show very slight scuffing in a couple of spots. And the straps have spur marks. Great looking and very servicable. A little about us.
