Upfor auction is a wicker 15" X6" X 8" CREEL WITH SHOULDER STRAP. The lid of the basket has a 7 inchruler for measuring your catch. The leather strap is in good shape. The wooden latch that holds the lid down worksand looks good too. No breaks in the wicker basket. However. One of the wickerhinges may have been replaced by a metal hinge. An estate sale find for your consideration: A nice vintage wicker fishing creel with leather straps and leather top 6 inch ruler so it was possibly made for trout fly fishing. The ruler has"Made in British Hong Kong" It appears to be in very good condition for it's age. There are no major breaks to the wicker.No unpleasant odors but is a bit duty. There is age appropriate wear to the leather closure. Sold in"As found condition. I have no knowledge on it's age but it probably at least dates to the 60-70's.
