This is a vintage fishing creel. It appears to be handmade but I cannnot guarantee that it has. Different shape than most. Leather attachments with brass fasteners. Canvas Strap. Vintage H.J. Collis Fishing Creel made in USA of canvas and leather with some man made vinyl/fabric edging. 17" long and about 11.5" tall at the tallest part. There is a main compartment and also two pockets that the top flap closes over and snaps onto.The top flap has a 12" ruler printed on it and above the ruler is a small"3Z" A brass zipper on top that is in good shape.Many metal grommets in the bag body that are in very good condition. There is some of the vinyl type edging that has lost some of it's finish. It's still intact but the shiny surface is flaking off. Very Unusual WW2 era OD Canvas + Leather Fishing Creel No Reserve
Old OD canvas fish creel in used condition. It is from the estate of a WWII collector. Fits right in with military items. I doubt it was military issue. Probably made by one of the companies making canvas and leather items for the war effort. Front pouch has a tear and front pouch waterproof liner is crackly. Bottom is made of Masonite. I see no markings on it.

This is a vintage wicker creel. With leather hinges as pictured and a canvas strap attached(as pictured too) There are also openings in the back for another strap. It measures approx. 16" x 9" x 9-1/2 tall" It's in excellent condition, with only one*partial* break in the wicker(as pictured! and otherwise beautiful, tight weaving throughout. The stitching is in perfect shape. There is a little bit of residue, like maybe salt residue on the leather, but otherwise it's all clean. The strap drop is 22" from peak of strap to top of lid) and looks newer than the creel itself. There is no brand or characteristic marking, as far as I can tell, but I am in the Portland, OR area, fwiw. VINTAGE CANVAS FISHING CREEL - LEATHER CLOSING STRAP - SCREEN BOTTOM
Nice old canvas fishing creel in good shape. It measures 14 inches wide by 11 inches tall. Rounded bottom with an inner pouch. The green canvas shoulder strap is solid and strong. It has a leather closing strap with a metal buckle. The leather is a little stiff but could be made pliable again easily. The screen is double stitched in place and well secured so none of your catch would slip away. About 2 1/2 inches of piping has un-stitched beneath the leather closing strap of the bags closing flap. A good example of a typical inexpensive fishing creel used in Montana in the 40's. 50's and 60's. It is in"found" condition. Old wicker Creel for Fly fishing-1930's w/Leather/canvas shoulder-strap
Nice old creel in very good shape for being used-the previous owner put a 6" rule on the top-to make sure his or her Brook Trout were legal. At that time. Has a little damage where the previous owner tied some fly rod line on it to make sure it was secure. Nice creel probably for collecting or decorating. I think the latch is German Silver-not sure. 14" across the bottom x 6" high in front and 8" high in the back-tapered to the lid that is 11" across x 6" wide- the lid is tapered 1-1/2" from top edge to the front edge. 5" across the bottom to front edge.

This is a nice old willow woven creel for it's age. Made in England with a brass decoration on lid& leather string closure with tongue part of latch strap is missing. Hinge is held on by shoe strings and some willow wrapping. Back bone of hinge is broken and piece is included, see photos. There is a dent on the front where willow is damaged and one bone is snapped yet there. The rest of the basket is in good condition and can be rebuilt. Fly fishing Creel is 11.5" long 4.25" wide 7" deep at back and 5" deep in front. Lid is 5.5" wide and 10" long. This is a very large fishing creel. It measures 8 inches tall by 10 inches deep by 15 inches wide. I am not sure what brand it is or where it was made. It has only been used for decoration and there is some hot glue residue inside on the bottom of the basket. It can be removed. The lid is attached by green canvas and the 48" adjustable strap is also made of canvas. The opening in the lid is 2 1/2" squared. I'm not sure how old it is or if all the straps around it are made of leather or not. It looks like leather to me. Please examine the pictures closely. It is a very nice woven basket creel. Old canvas and leather 4 compartment fishing creel. It has a canvas strap for over the shoulder use and one for around the waste. Has four compartments. 1 large one for your fish and three smaller ones for your gear. The large one for your fish can be removed by disconnecting it from the buttons that hold it in place. The canvas bag is 14" wide by 9" tall. The shoulder strap as it is now is 38" with room to adjust for a longer length. The Creel measures 15" at the bottom back and about 8" tall. There is a leather strap to close the front and it has adjustable canvas straps that can be used over the shoulder or just carried.
