2 Fishing Creels with leather trim. 1st creel is in overall good vintage condition save the top closing strap which is missing the end as pictures- the strap is intact. Front snap leather pocket, interior in good shape, bottom stamped"Made in Japan 15" as pictured. Unsure if the body is a bamboo material. 2nd creel is missing strap and top closure, back handle is broken as pictured, bamboo or wicker material all intact. Leather detail on exterior. 3 fishing lures. 1st is large measures appx. 6 1/2 inches marked"Cisco Kid" 2nd lure red/white measures appx. 3 1/2 inches no marker mark. 3rd small appx. 1 1/2 inches stamped F5. Vintage Fly Fishing Wicker Basket Creel Fisherman's Basket
Welcome! Up for auction is this great woven vintage fishing creel! It is in nice condition. With a few flaws as follows. There are some broken strands along the sides at the bottom. There are a few cracks in the bark that makes up the strap that goes around the basket. They are in the front at the very bottom and there is one chipped spot towards the left side of the photo about midway up. These flaws are visible in the photos if you zoom in on them. Other than those listed, the main part of the basket is in very nice condition, finished with a shiny gloss. The strap makes a twenty inch loop. Vintage 1800's Large Bait Box or Metal Fishing Creel or Tackle Box for Lures
Vintage. Very unique, rustic metal bait box or creel. I have been told this is probably from the late 1800's and is possibly English. There is no name or manufacturers mark that I have been able to find. I do know this a very well made, old metal box probably used for live bait or it could have been used as a trout creel or could have carried fishing lures. The hinged lid on the top works very well as does the large comfortable handle. There are no holes in the unit, but it does have some marks and a few dents in the metal. Approx size is 16" long x 8" wide x 13" to the top of the handle(the box itself is about 8" tall) Weight of the box is approx 4.7 Lbs. Very unique and I have never seen another like this.

Vintage Antique Leather Split Woven Willow Wicker Fly Fishing Creel Basket VGC
Up for auction is a very nice split willow and leather fishing creel from early 1900's. The only real issue I see with this piece is the leather closure strap is broke. Although it is present and will be included for possible repair. Otherwise the basket is tight with little to no damage. The leather on the rest of the creel looks to be in very good condition as well. Slight discoloration inside on the bottom which just gives it credibility. Good luck.

VINTAGE HORROCKS IBBOTSON? FISHING CREEL BASKET W/ FISH STYLE LATCH AND HANDLE
I have for sale a vintage Fishing Creel. I have found similar examples of this creel sold by Horrocks Ibbotson Co. I believe it was made in Hong Kong. Japan. It is in used but still very good usable or decorative condition with no breaks in the weaving that I can see. The fish shape latch is complete with some rusting on the metal. The creel measures 14" across at the base and 9 3/4" across the top. All in all a very well made fishing creel. If anyone has anymore information on this basket I would be glad to add it to the description. I use USPS Priority Mail in the USA so the cost to ship will be a flat rate $6.00. Vintage Wicker Fishing Creel Basket w/ Tackle This is a very nice fishing basket and all the gear pictured comes with it. It measures: 9" high x 11" wide x 6 1/4" deep. It is in very good condition. Solid& sturdy. The basket closure strap is a fish head& body. The head has'PAT 66289' on it. There are a few broken strands/connectors. That hold the lid on to its rim, see pictures. Also a few broken strands/connectors. On the basket part, holding the basket to the rim. The 2 leather straps holding the lid to the basket are good. The basket weveing is very tight and strong. It comes with leather straps and metal closer works well. Tail is off fish body but is included. As is all the tackle pictured. An old wicker fishing creel that measures around 15" across the bottom. Do not know the exact age but is quite old. This creel has definitely seen a lot of use which makes it such a great vintage fishing collectible. Wicker is in pretty good condition along with the leather attached to the creel but the cover or lid doesn't close correctly. The straps are brittle and broken in places. Condition is excellent, there's evidence of use but its been well cared for. Vintage wicker fishing creel/basket Measures 11" across. 8" high and 6" deep. Opens at the top. Two wicker handles. The cover shuts and is secured by 2 looped clasps. one of the wooden pieces that inserts into the loops is missing. This has been used as noted in the pictures.
