A wonderful early Block Leather Reel Case. Really great for housing your Vintage or Modern quality salmon reel. There is a fair age to this case 70 to 90 years old? I am not sure! There is no makers name on case. But quality equal to any Hardy or Farlow's. The case can hold a 4inch to 4 1/4 reel. Case in great shape with no stiching damage and strap complete! This case has the useful addition of a carrying handle! A previous owner has inscribed it' Woody' on sides and' Brags' under tying strap. This is not at all intrusive. Vintage Mitchell 302 Saltwater Spinning Reel + 4 Spare Spools
This is a good condition Mitchell 302 spinning reel and 4 spare spools. It was just serviced and still works well. The extra spools are in good condition. The anti-reverse and bail all work fine. There is some pitting and flaking of the paint. But these old reels were remarkably well made, with nearly all metal and almost no plastic parts. Vintage GEAR FLY Regular Multiplier Fly Reel c/w Spare Spool Ref: WS I am offering for auction a vintage INTREPID(Gladding) Gear Fly Regular Multiplier Fly Reel. I am uncertain of it's age. But guess it is 1960's or earlier. It is in very good condition and perfect mechanical order. With just superficial wear to the painted finish and a few feint scratches, mainly around the outer rims. The rim mounted tension adjustment is in perfect working order and the spool rotates smoothly and evenly in both directions, as does the handle. This particular model has high-speed retrieve gearing, with the spool rotating 2 3/4 time to each turn of the handle. PLEASE NOTE: This reel is supplied with a spare spool. But I am unable to detach the crank handle. I may be doing something wrong when dismantling the reel, but please bear this in mind when ... moreconsidering the value of the second spool, as I can't guarantee it fits. The spool on the reel works perfectly. Please note that one of the labels is missing from this reel. But I am certain it is an Intrepid or Gladding Gear Fly reel. The reel is loaded with fly line.
