The reel case is near mint and corresponds with the same address detail as that of the reel, being 10 Charles Street and 191 The Strand. The reel retains near all of its original factory finish and is scrolled engraved with makers name, address, model and patent information. Hardy Uniqua Salmon Fly Reel - 3 3/4 Wide Drum
Up for auction is a Hardy Uniqua. The reel is 3 3/4 inches in diameter. And has a rim tension control and telephone latch. Mark II check, and stamped with the initials JRJ on the inside. Designed for right hand wind, but is currently set up as a left hand wind reel(it can be switch by simply reversing the pawl) The only real fault is the seat, which has been filed on both ends. The line is a 450 grain Rio Skagit Short and is included in the listing. Feel free to email with any question.

Vintage 4" Wooden Starback Fishing Reel. Heaton Latch
I have for sale a Heaton. 4" Wooden Nottingham style, Centrepin Fishing Reel. The reel has a star shaped back with a ratchet button mounted on the star. The reel is in good overall condition with some scratches and marks to the wood. You are seeing the reel in the same condition as I received it. Some treatment with a good wood polish will bring this up well. The reel is a good runner. It has a 4 screw Heaton locking latch, twin handles and a stabilised ratchet guide. The star shaped back was introduced as a means of preventing the wooden back from warping. The guided ratchet plate was a further development to stop the ratchet spring from jumping off the pawl. Vintage Mitchell 300S Fishing Reel for Spares or Repair
A Mitchell 300S Fishing Reel for spares or repair. The spool has a lot of paint loss. Shown in photo. The reel has no anti reverse. But does have all its gears. There is no bail arm springs. One bail arm cover plate is missing the screw hole has been re-tapped and has a screw in it, the bail arm cover plate you can see has its trip lever and moves. The baffle plate has a few dents and marks around the trip but works fine. The reel has no spindle. The paint is very poor around the foot and bottom of the body and generally is well used. The spool holder has some paint loss and will need painting, the cover plate is fairly good with some small paint lifting around the back screw. There is no handle only a spiral handle boss. Could be rebuilt. Or used for spares.

Hello and welcome to the auction and thank you for viewing.This is for a rare Hardy fly reel clear acrylic shop display stand with Hardy fly within castle logo.This stand was I understand made for a shop to display a Hardy reel and is estimated to date from the 1970's.I have been informed that these stands are very rare and were usually retained by Hardys.Because of this I believe that they would never have been offered for sale as a retail item.The stand measures approximately 10cm.by 10.cm.by 2cm.deep.There is an original slot for the reel foot where the reel foot locates.The slot measures 6.3cm. by 1.5cm.They appear to have been made in two sizes for larger and smaller reels.There may well have been a small pad of black padding in foam or of a similar substance for the reel foot slot where the foot of the reel sits but there is no ... morepad present however any suitable material cut to size would suffice.I plan to list a similar Hardy stand for larger reels which has a slightly bigger reel foot slot which is located in a different position.Please ignore any camera reflections in the photograph.The stand weighs 215 grams unpacked.A rare Hardy item few of which I would think are in general circulation. Starting to reduce a collection of vintage reels. This is an American reel popular in the mid 20th century. A good condition Ocean City Fantum 250 in nice clean condition. An early free spool mechanism and an all alloy body made this a good medium weight fishing reel. A good reel which could perform well today but deserves to remain as a display object of interest. Everything is complete and the ratchet is quite crisp. Looks good and will display well. Sold without reserve.

Hi folks you are looking at my auction for the fantastic: GARCIA MITCHELL 300A DOUBLE SILVER BAND. This was manufactured in France early 80s from memory. Hi there your looking at one nice example of this classic 300A fishing reel. It has only had one user(myself) and since I moved away from the Midlands it has sat in a case in a dry draw in the house. It remains in great condition. MECHANICALLY SPOT ON AND IN EXCELLENT WORKING ORDER. She has a beautiful silky smooth and free left-handed wind. However the manual bail arm return's doesnt always go back to the full position but it does work. Also the optional anti-reverse lever lock's in with a instant once engaged just like it should. And the Manual pick-up produce's a delightful anti-reverse ticking from the Mitchell gearing. She has some paint rubbing to both ends of the foot. ... moreAlso has minor marks around the double silver foil information band and in other areas. Besides that the rest of the black paint finish and chrome work is in excellent condition as you can see. The end of the handle is looking a bit faded but works as it should. Old Fishing Reel, Sidecaster, Collectable & Unique
You are bidding on an old fishing reel I don’t know very much about it and it has no manufacturers marking. It is made of aluminium and wood. With ball bearings and brass thumbscrew. It has no gears or clutch or anything sophisticated. It looks to me to be homemade or may even be a prototype. The foot which would connect the reel to the fishing rod swivels which makes it a Sidecaster. Antique S Allcock Brass Centre Wooden Ratcheted 3" Fishing Reel
Antique S. Allcocks ratchet. Wooden and brass reel. Found this reel today in my Fathers shed. He no longer uses it so i've given it a polish and its offered here today. It has a 3 inch diameter. Brass is stamped as shown in the photos. Original boxwood handles with brass rings are in good condition. Ratchet works although the reel is a bit stiff to wind as expected. I'd imagine it needs some tlc after all these years. A nice fresh to the market find. Don't miss out! Offered at a low start price with no reserve so it will find its own value.
