Original Pre-1998 Ross Cimarron C2 reel made in Montrose. Colorado with 20 lb backing plus a like-new spare spool plus Ross original leather reel pouch and a neoprene pouch. The reel is in great working order with some smooth cosmetic scratches on the back of the reel frame and top of the foot. The spare spool is like-new with no scratches at all. The reel is set up for left-hand wind but is easily convertible. Drag is easily controlled by twist knob. This is a great, very durable reel for 4-6 weight lines.

Vintage Ted Williams Automatic 470 Fly Fishing Reel Sears 3115 fish collectible
Well here's a really cool thing I found down in my basement that the previous owner of my house must have left behind: a Ted Williams automatic fly fishing reel made by Sears Roebuck. With the original hangtag, vinyl case and cardboard box, plus some pamphlets that were in the box. The reel itself looks hardly used, and as if it could be cleaned up to look practically new, but I didn't try to clean it. It has a heavy duty green cord wrapped inside. The box is in very rough shape, and doesn't hold together on the sides, but the writing is still clear on the front of it: Ted Williams Vertical Automatic Fly Reel no. 3115 Sears Roebuck and Company, Made in USA, and there's the original $13.50 price sticker. The vinyl case has writing on it in pen: Christopher Albert Peck, from Gramp, with glass fly rod. Kinda sweet! I wish I had ... morea Gramp to give me a fishing pole and fly reel back in the day. There's a Ted Williams stamp and gold triple crest logo on the case. The zipper's very sticky so I didn't mess with it for fear of breaking it, but maybe with some lubricant it would work better. Check the pictures! A sweet fishing sports collectible from simpler days gone by. For auction is an S.E. Bogdan Model 150 salmon reel(all black) left hand retrieve. The reel measures 3.5” in diameter and is ideal for 9/10 weight line. It has a backing capacity of 175 yards of#20. The all black models were special order only from the Bogdan family. And you don’t see many of them. The reel comes complete with the original suede drawstring bag and original Bogdan paperwork. In my description of the reel I have to be honest and say it is used. I have only fished with this reel twice and it is as close to new as you can get. The only sign of wear is on the thumb control for the drag adjustment. A Bogdan salmon reel is one of the finest reels ever mad, and are no longer produced today. For sale is a completely restored(very collectable) South Bend#290 7 1/2 ft 4/5 wt bamboo fly rod.It was restored by well known rod maker Dave Cottengim. The restoration was done with all original components. It was rewrapped in original South Bend issue orange and black varigatted threads. The red logo is 100% as is the rod label. On the"comficient cork handle" the foil label is missing. Note; comficient first was used in 1939 and stood for a combination of comfortable and efficient. It is a 2/2 rod-2 piece with 2 tips. It has the origianl uplocking metal lite reelseat. It casts either a 4 or 5 wt line with a nice medium action. This is from the descripton when I purchased it-as I have never put a line on it! It has been stored in an airconditioned smoke free home since I bought it in 2007. It comes with the original rod bag and ... morea Cottengim replacement tube. Orvis Fly Reel - CFO III Silver Edition - Rare - slightly used - w/ spare spool
You are viewing/ bidding on a very gently used Orvis CFO III Fly Reel. This reel has been in my collection for many years. And was used twice for brook trout fishing in Maine. It was paired up with a 5 wt. cane rod. During this trip, a small scratch occurred on the edge of the reel. It is shown in the photo. Other than this, the reel is in pristine condition. It has a soft leather case, and matching spare spool. This model is designed for 4-6 wt lines. It is made by Hardy Brothers of England for Orvis. Beautiful vintage Martin Model MG-7 Fly Fishing Reel with an extra Martin F-14 Spool. Reel is in very good condition and you can tell that it's seen some good action with water marks and a few minor scratches. No dents or gouges and everything works smoothly and flawlessly. Also it comes inside a cool glove soft leather drawstring pouch in excellent condition. Spool is also in very good condition and will come to you in it's original box. The Reel will come fully loaded with what looks to be Cortland 444 Classic Floating Fly Line(WF6F ROCKET-PEACH) but I am not positive. I am merely going by the tag attached to the inside of the leather pouch that the reel is stored in and the peach color that is associated with the 444 line. The Spool will come fully loaded with a light green line that I will assume is Cortland because of the 4 spools ... moreof line in this collection of fly fishing equipment that I am selling. 3 out of 4 were marked Courtland. Also it has the same touch and feel to it. The Cortland 444 Classic Peach has stood all the tests that generations of anglers have thrown at it and emerged as one of the finest fly lines of all time. These were bought at Gart Bros. in Denver, CO as the price tag is still on the spool box.
