Marked with Nov 19.07 Patent, this wide spool reel is in strong operating condition. It is about 3/4 ths full with old silk line. The line does not appear to be a sticky mess as it usually is and congealed in one solid lump. I think that it very well could be cleaned and used or displayed on the reel. The condition of the reel is good/very good, it does have a dirty surface and apparently someone has attempted to clean the front. I did not attempt to clean it, it should be somewhat better after a good cleaning. This RH2 model is: diameter: 3-1/4" width: 1-5/16" weight: 6.33oz. capacity: WF7 150yds. 20# WF8, 120yds 20# Suitable for fly lines of weights DT5-DT7. This reel is the product of a brief partnership between Redington and Ari T Hart. Which lasted for two seasons: 200-2001 and 2001-2002. Marked'Made in Holland' It is essentially an Art T Hart design and manufacture, then branded for Redington. Exhibits all the same characteristics as Ari T Hart'Mach' series of reels. The reel has been used. But well cared for. Operation/drag are very smooth. Just as you would expect from a finely-machined Ari T hart reel. Here is a nice Pre-owned carving that came from an estate sale. It is approximately 10" Long x 7 1/2" tall carving of a Rainbow Trout with a Fly in it's mouth. Marked on the side Sharon Simonson 1990. It has nice colors and is nicely detailed. It sits on a nice wood base. It is in nice pre-owned condition the only thing I see is in the wood base it has a small minor crack that looks like it could be natural in the wood but not sure. Orvis. CFO IV, fly reel with two spare spools. This is the 3 ¼” x ¾” heavily ventilated reel that was originally designed by Stan Bogdan for Orvis. This particular one is one of the older reels that were made in England for Orvis. With the adjustable drag switch on the rear plate that works as it should when turned. One can change the direction of the spool drive on this exposed rim reel by flipping the cam on the inside to move the pressure onto the other spring. This IV model can handle a WFF 6 line, and it has a double-sided nickel silver two-screw line guard and an aluminum full-length foot. The spare spools fit perfectly, and there are NO bent spool rims as all three spools spin beautifully. Ross Gunnison G3 (5-6 Weight) Fly Fishing Reel with Extra Spool
Ross Gunnison G3 which has fished#4/5/6 lines from Maine. Vermont, New York, Wyoming, Montana and Idaho for close to 20 years. It is a wonderful reel to fish on 7 1/2' 9' cane and graphite rods. The drag is smooth and can really crank down if one so wishes. It's a very excellent reel to palm. The spindle is tight. No wobbling. It's had one owner- me. It's caught countless large rainbows, browns, cut throats, brookies and the occassional land locked salmon. Line is NOT included but backing is.

very very rare twin agate vintage hardy perfect fly reel
here is a super rare hardy perfect with twin agates. The reel measures exactly 3 1/2 inches on the spool side and 1 1/4 width, the reel has a few problems but its rarity out ways them. problems are one agate cracked chipped other one perfect, the head of the brass drag tensioner is broken off but the screw left inside is free and moves up and down, there is a crack in the rim of the reel and i think at some stage the foot has been professionally refitted not sure if its original but its firm and been done well if it has been refitted. all these things i have mentioned can be seen in the pics, if any more pics needed please just ask. there is no play on the spindle and the drag does work well nice and tight as i have moved it up and down, the reel is still usable and runs smooth but i would imagine it will go on show as its that rare, i have ... morenever seen one of these twin agate perfects this old and cant find any info on it. there is m12 and i stamped on the winding plate 12 and i on the spool and 12 stamped on the cage. also on winding plate is hardy alnwick patent with arrows right and left indicating left or right, you may have more chance of finding hens teeth for sale! i have been as honest as i can about this reel, thanks for looking and good luck with bidding, Check out my! DIMENSIONS: The diameter of the outside of the Handle side of the Reel is just under 4 inches. The opposite side is a bit smaller. CONDITION: This Reel is solid. Tight and appears to be well made. The Handle/Spool turns freely and smooth with no rubbing on the frame. The small finger adjusting Screw on the side works fine and appears to act as a Brake or Drag on the Spool. The Reel has no Dents, Cracks or other defects that would affect operation. You will see a few minor rubs or scuffs ... morein the finish from normal use. Bauer MX5 Fly Reel
This reel is recognized as one of the top of the line fly reels. I purchased it for a trip to the Sustut River in BC and used it for 5 days. It has 200 yards of 30 lb backing and 120 feet of shooting line on it. It is set up for left hand retrieve but can easily be converted to right hand(instruction are included in the original box) It comes with a soft case/guard that can we used when it is mounted on a rod. These reels have an extremely smooth and reliable drag system. Only 5 days of use and extremely well taken care of. You will find no problems with the function of this reel.
