Excellent Original Hardy Leather Boxed Hardy 4" UNIQUA Fishing Reel. Alnwick. Excellent quality Hardy 4" Uniqua reel in a original Hardy Brothers Ltd leather and velvet lined box. The fitted box is in beautiful nut brown or tan tooled leather with the Hardy name embossed on the front. I can only tell you about the cosmetic condition with any certainty as I know nothing about fishing equipment. There are obvious signs of use to the surface enamel(please see my pictures) but i have been reliabley informed by fishing tackle shop that it works. The leather case has some small staining spots on one side and the strap has again some obvious signs of age and usage wear. Low start. A classic Allcock brass spine back centre pin fishing reel. Stamped' S. ALLCOCK& Co Ltd. MAKERS, REDDITCH. ENG. on the brass foot. Measuring 4" diameter& fitted with an optional check. It spins freely and still practical to use. In good cosmetic condition with no splits or cracks. It probably dates to the 1920's and the wood appears to be mahogany, with twin ebony handles. Vintage 4 inch diameter Milwards Flyranger Reel In very good condition and in full working order. Retaining most of its original brown enamel paint finish with the original full length un-filed foot and original fluted ebonite handle. The variable ratchet system operates well. The reel has been dropped at some stage in its life resulting in a minor flat spot on the frame adjacent to the line guide(see photograph) This minor damage does not effect the reels operation. A nice reel that will be appreciated by anyone interested in vintage fishing equipment.

Vintage Polished Garcia Mitchell Match L - Classic 1970s High Speed Fishing Reel
A classic Garcia Mitchell Match L high speed auto fishing reel with a plastic twist handle. This reel is the rarer Match L that is held in the left hand and reeled with the right hand. The serial number is unclear. Stainless steel screws on the cover plate. The reel has been stripped not easy as paint stripper does not work. Then polished as best as you can cast aluminium, with some paint left in tight nooks, it can be used without damaging paintwork, or re-sprayed or further polished. The reel has a shallow match spool fitted. The bailarm. Anti reverse works as it should. The bail arm chrome is fair with some several marks and wear. A serviced Match L reel to use with out fear of damaging the paintwork. If you have any questions please ask.

It is quite tarnished with a lightly pitted area near the engraving(see last Photo) There is a very small bruise/dent at 2 o'clock(with foot at 6) on the outer rim on the handle side and a few marks around the handle. Please use the photos provided to help you judge the general condition. The reel spins freely and has a nice positive click. The foot is also in very good order. It would make a nice project for someone to polish up.

for sale here is a lovely little platewind style brass trout reel. Made by and stamped"D SLATER MAKER NEWARK" unusual 2 + 3/8ths" size, constant caliper check, full straight unfiled brass foot, cowhorn handle, very nice little reel and winds very well with good check, no buckles line burns or damage. a very nice tidy example very rare to see a reel like this actually stamped with the slater mark as most of them were unstamped for the trade and in a rarer size too as they are more commonly seen in 1/4" increments, and i have dressed it with an old waxed line to display it better, very good lot this one.please see my other listings of hardy and other vintage fishing items this week.

FAR KAST made in CHELSEA VINTAGE OVERHEAD FISHING REEL
G/day out there.For you to look at is a FAR KAST overhead fishing reel that is stamped Ocean City MFG(may be a 6) CD and CHELSEA patten pending as well as 150 on the rod mount. The reel works really well including the ratchet.The plastic handle is split on the seam and there is a bit of surface rust on the alluminium spool. There is a marked grease point on the front and a neatsford oil only on the back. This reel is very different in the manufacturing and working to our normal reels and would be a great talking point at the bar or out fishing. DAM GERAT QUALITAT EVEREADY 3125 VINTAGE SMALL OVERHEAD FISHING REEL
G/day.I have this very small overhead reel that is branded DAM GERAT QUALITAT on the handle side and EVEREADY 3125 on the back end(see photos) The little reel seems to work great including the ratchet and has a lovely moulded pattern on the handle.There are a few cosmetic faults but no breaks or rust etc.The handles are good. It only weighs 0.18kg and the line on it should be replaced.This would do many more fishing trips and be a great talking point as I have never seen one like it before.Please check my other items for sale and have fun cheers Mark.

The cover plate is original and in good condition, the spool holder has some bubbling. The bail arm chrome has flaked with marks and signs of use. The anti reverse works as it should.
