We have this blast from“one more cast” past…a lot of 4 various vintage Penn reels. These and many more that I have were bought at an estate sale here in Clearwater, Florida. Considering the age of the reels, they are in rather nice condition. Of course they do show some signs of age/use, as reels such as these were bought with the idea of fishing. The Penn Surfmaster No. 200 is in rather nice condition. The drag is still smooth through all levels and the clicker is still crisp and loud. The 209 is in fair condition, as the drag needs some work and it does not appear to go in and out of gear. The level wind is working very well. The clicker is still crisp and loud. The 309 has a great drag system…smooth at all levels. The clicker on this reel is also crisp and loud. Unfortunately the entire level wind system is missing. This reel seems to work just great! The Peer 109 is just a neat little reel. The level wind works as does the drag system. The clicker is loud and crisp. The lock lever does not disengage the spool. It appears the one of the screws on one of the cross bar support may have a broken screw thread inside, as I can’t get the screw in. There are also two screws missing on the clicker plate and one on the handle side for the reel mount. All of the parts are very easily obtained. I am sure that all of the reels could use a good cleaning and oiling. I hope that I have covered all of the aspects of the reels. As always, should you be the lucky catcher and are not happy, I will return all of your money, no questions asked. Please cast any questions my way. Thanks for fishing! 5-8

A Late Victorian or Early Edwardian Brass Poachers Fly Fishing Reel 1.25 Inch diameter. Why were they so small? Well if there was a chance of a poacher getting caught he would simply slip his small rod/reel into his pockets and be off before capture. The smaller and more compact his equipment. The easier to conceal of course. This is a brass reel with a wooden handle. Obviously because of it's age there is no ratchet. Vintage Mitchell 330 Otomatic Fishing Reel. The serial number looks like 3169499(1960) T he reel has some paint loss. The cover plate and badge Mitchell 330 is good. The bail arm chrome is bright with very little marks or wear. The anti reverse works as it should. The twist plastic handle is good. The arm is the early sprung type. The spool fitted is a deep spool. As is the spare spool both are the early cross clutch adjuster. It is a good serviced vintage Mitchell 330 Otomatic fishing reel. I have for sale a good working example of the Allcocks Black Knight Centre Pin Fishing Reel. The reel is as the name suggests black in colour and is 3 1/2" in diameter. It has a selective ratchet. The switch being on the back plate. The good thing about this reel is that it retains its glued on Allcocks Nameplate. Unmarked but surely made for the trade by allcocks or similar, tiny 2.25" size, good solid british build and much better quality than similar portage pressed thin reels, good loud check, full straight unfiled brass foot, bone handle very nice little reel and winds well with good check, no buckles line burns or damage. very nice example and i have dressed it with an old silk line to make it display better, this is a lovely example in a very small size.please see my other listings of hardy and other vintage fishing items this week.

Here we have a decent working example of the classic Kid gone fishing reel of the 1970's. The Intrepid Boy'o. These were never sophisticated. But you might like me have caught your first roach with one of these! Cosmetically the reel is in decent used condition with some chips to the blue paintwork. It works just as it should including the on/off check/anti-reverse and the front drag control.

Found whilst clearing my late parents house. Dam Quickfly 120 alloy fly fishing reel. This is a nice clean reel. No oxidisation on the reel. Just one or two very minor surface marks. for sale here is a lovely little vintage early model millwards flymaster which was built by JW youngs circa late 1950s and is basically a beaudex. Rear tension, ebonite 2 screw drum release with no cracks to the centre boss, 3" size, lineguard, patent ergo grip handle, twin checks and set for RHW but can be used for LHW too albeit the rear tension and the lineguard will be obsolete, 2 screw foot good and straight, good strong check, overall the reel is in good condition with no buckles dents or damage, other than a bit of paint wear and a little loss of chrome finish on one corner of the lineguard its a lovely little user reel, please view my other items for sale, item will be posted right away once paid for.

Vintage Garcia Mitchell 306 Fishing Reel - For Spares or Repair -
Garcia Mitchell fishing reel 306. The bail arm is there and springs back and seems to work fine, as does the anti reverse. The handle is missing. Although the boss and arm is there although not sure if the thread for the handle is good or bad. The foot is of course broken. The anti reverse seems to work. As does the rotation of the head although, the spool is missing. Some minor paintwork is missing. I can normally post two small reels together for one postal cost.
